Gila County Emergency Management monitors and responds to every weather hazard, natural disaster, infectious disease outbreak, terrorist concern, and other quick-response public health issue affecting the 53,000 residents of Gila County, Arizona.
Our team spans more than 40 emergency response experts, infectious disease specialists, nurses, and other public health professionals who have the experience, expertise, and training to remedy situations quickly. We also collaborate with the Arizona state health department, AZ Department of Emergency and Military Affairs (DEMA), neighboring counties, and FEMA on larger or imminent issues.
